um...I suffered from the same before.

Earned that 50 points and then be deducted for 100. Then I never did that task anymore.

I just try to make the task of replying 10 posts a day to earn 20 point extra and that's is.

Somehow i think it's not reasonable too, a forum not encouraging ppl to chat. But that's the rule here...
Why so serious, earn some points then download things we want here is fine.
No need to take it too personal.
